Another fabulous KBW Founding Member feature! These ladies have been members since early 2022 and really have given to the KBW sisterhood in order of expertise, education, and events! Today’s feature is one of our favorite realtors, Kathy Molina!

“I’m not just a Realtor who helps sellers, buyers, renters, and so much more in Kingwood, TX, and surrounding areas but a wife, mother of 5, and a mamaw to my precious granddaughter. Also, a compassionate and community-oriented individual who actively engages in various volunteer activities. Alongside my successful real estate career, I find time to give back to my community in meaningful ways. I selflessly volunteer at my daughter’s school, lending her support to educational programs and events. Furthermore, I proudly sponsor the Kingfish swim team, demonstrating my commitment to promoting local sports and fostering a sense of teamwork and achievement among young athletes. Additionally, I generously support KSBJ, a beloved local radio station known for its uplifting and inspirational content. My dedication to volunteering and sponsorship showcases my kind-hearted nature. I couldn’t do any of this without my husband and children who always cheer me on. 'Stop trying to do it all' I have to tell myself. The universe has been trying to tell me something. This past month I noticed a reoccurring theme in every podcast, lecture I've attended of local industry leaders, and conversations I have with corporate industry peers. I have to say that delegating "$10 duties" and assigning myself to only the "million dollars income producing projects" of running a business has always been my biggest personal challenge. So why is it so hard to let go? Perfectionism. A blessing and a curse - it can be counter-productive to your business. Time is your most precious commodity and should be spent on income-producing activities. Stop working within your business, but RUN IT. Making the transition from freelance entrepreneur to CEO mindset can be as simple as making a list of things you love doing for your business and the things you hate doing in your business. Give it away NOW! Finding it difficult to trust someone to keep up with your quality of work output? Yep, been there too. Take the leap of faith. I had to trust that if someone can do a task or project as 80% as well as you can then I need to LET IT GO. I can coach them for the rest of the 20 percent. A year and a half ago I moved to the Kingwood area and I barely knew a soul. I craved making new girlfriends with creative instincts and a mindset for business. So I took to social media, Knowing that it’s is the place to search for local networking events. I searched for groups and really struggled to find an inclusive community of women. Kingwood Business Women instagram was born! Seemingly overnight the following of Kingwood Business Women’s social media following and email list grew from 0 to over a thousand. That spoke to me…that there were actually women in our area that were searching too! I am Christa Elyce, the founder of the Kingwood Business Women Association. Our community is built on the pillars of modern networking and events, business education and content creation, and building a sisterhood that is uplifting to all women - no matter your level of business, dreams, or goals. We hosted our first event in March 2021. Our first KBW Business & Brunch was completely sold out! With over 150 women in attendance, we hosted a vendor market, and a panel discussion with Houston’s top leading female industry leaders, and have been recognized as Lake Houston’s most influential association. Joining the KBW membership gave our members access to exclusive discounts to Masterclasses, workshops, free admission to our ‘elevator pitch’ networking events, and opportunities to be featured on our expansive platform and their desired target audience. I love hearing stories of our members of how their entrepreneurial lifestyle has become less of a lonely journey. It’s a community where we learn, share, and create together!
